Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken:
Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using) to taste.

Combine and Serve:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
Add the cooked chicken on top and gently toss everything together.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or basil.
