Melt butter in a pan, once melted put butter in its own bowl to let cool while mixing other ingredients.

In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix.

In a separate bowl mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, 2 egg yolks, vanilla, sourdough discard the melted butter and mix all together.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients bowl and mix and add chocolate chips.

Chill dough in fridge for at least an hour but I do 2-3 if I have time.

Preheat oven to 350 F and bake for 10-12 minutes.
