Shout-out to Noelle as she made a version of this first and learned from her how to make this and have changed it up some since.

This creamy pasta is amazing and is very filling.

Steps

1
Prepare chicken by seasoning both sides with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper to feel.
2
Cook chicken either in air fryer till done or cook on pan in olive oil and some butter till crust forms.
3
Boil water while chicken is cooking, and don't forget some olive oil and salt in water before boiling.
4
With the chicken done if fried on stove top transfer chicken to something else and reuse for flavoring the sauce.
5
For sauce put butter in. Once melted saute onion and put garlic in. Just trying to flavor the butter.
6
Poor heavy whipping cream in, and get to a simmer. I would season with salt and black pepper, thyme and basil are optional. Then put parmesan cheese in and simply keep the sauce warm.
7
Once pasta is done save some of the water just in case you want to bring the pasta back up to life if it gets a little bit dry. You can either put the pasta in the sauce to fully absorb it or have the sauce on the side.

Notes

I recommend using a white onion as a red onion is too sweet but is fine if in small quantities. I also highly recommend grating the garlic into a puree or paste because it makes the garlic more pungent in the sauce. So far 4 oz of Parmesan cheese seems perfect and about 1 to 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream. The parmesan cheese and whipping cream really can be adjusted by feel. The parmesan cheese helps thicken the sauce. The heavy whipping cream will make it creamier. I also highly recommend fresh parmesan cheese but any parmesan cheese will work.

When simmering sauce don't make the heat too high, maybe medium and drop down to low once that's happened.

Hannah and me really love broccoli and sister Schubert's roles as sides.

This meal has fed four people before.
