Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Wash and cut 1-inch off the stem of the squash. Place the cut side down and then cut in half.

Using a spoon, scrape out the seeds. Criss Cross cut the flesh to help seasonings get further into the flesh,

Roast in oven, cut side up, for about 55-60 minutes based on the size. Let cool for just a bit. Will be done when fork tender.
