Brown your meat of choice and remove some of the fat that comes out. Set the meat aside.

In the same pot, brown the onions and green peppers with some meat fat. Add the meat back in along with all the the other ingredients. Simmer for 1.5 hours on low heat.

Get the chilli to the consistency you want and serve with toppings.
