About This Recipe
"This healthy mix of grown from the garden greens is a delicious spin on traditional collards or mustard greens. Done in half the time too!! Don’t forget to enjoy the greens juice.
I learned to make greens from my mom. She would season the smoked pork and simmer it for hours. Meanwhile the collards and mustards soaked in cold water, and we’d spray away the sand. Once the greens made it to the pot they’d cook for what felt like forever. The result was a heavenly pot of tender, delicious and meaty goodness. I prepared greens for my family this way for years. I decided to swap out the smoked pork for smoked turkey and shorten the cook time by changing the greens. I make greens more often using this recipe. Please enjoy!!"
