Now to your crockpot add: 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar, 1/2 cup of maple syrup, 1-2 TBSP of minced garlic, 1/2-1 cup of beef broth, one onion chopped, and crumble your bacon up and add that in as well.

Cook on high 4-1/2-5 hours or until your meat starts to shred. If cooking it on low around 8 hours.
