Blackberry For Baby-led Weaning
Steps
1
In a medium saucepan, add in the blackberries, apples, cinnamon and water.
2
Over medium-low heat, cook for 8-10 minutes or until the apples are tender.
3
Transfer all ingredients to a blender and on medium speed, puree for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth. If there are still seeds, run the puree through a fine mess sieve.
4
Serve to baby and enjoy.
5
Serve to your baby in an age-appropriate way – either whole and slightly smashed with the back of a fork, cut in half, or chopped into smaller pieces. You can also puree or mash the blackberry and serve it to your baby on a self-feeding spoon.
