Plum Baby Food Puree
Plum For Baby-led Weaning
Steps
1
In a medium saucepan, place the plums, cinnamon, and water.
2
Cook over medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring often or until the plums are tender. Let cool slightly.
3
Transfer the plums to a blender of food processor.
4
Turn on the blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 minutes on medium. If the puree is too thick, add 1/4 cup of the reserved liquid at a time, until you achieve desired consistency.
5
Serve to your baby in an age-appropriate way – either cut in half off of the pit, slices, or chopped into smaller pieces. You can also puree or mash the plum and serve to your baby on a self-feeding spoon.
